Monster Ball of wool

I just bought 6 kilos of 20 micron merino sliver off eBay. Or, in simple terms I bought a huge ball of wool, which I now need to spin.

I am planning to blend this with alpaca fleece on my drum carder to make a merino/alpaca blend. That way the finished product will have more elasticity and won't be as overwhelmingly hot as pure alpaca.
